Privacy

A one-person bakery. Here is everything this site does with your information.

What I collect when you order

Checkout is handled by Stripe, not by this site. On Stripe’s page you give your card details, email address, name and phone number; your card number never reaches this site or me. Stripe passes me your email, name and phone so I can confirm the order and reach you about the pickup.

I also receive what you chose: the items, the pickup day and arrival slot, any note you typed, and your answer to “how did you hear about us” if you filled it in.

What the site records about your visit

No analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking cookies. The site keeps your basket and checkout choices in your own browser’s session storage so a refresh does not lose them; that data stays on your device and is gone when you close the tab.

If you arrive from a link carrying utm_source, utm_medium or utm_campaign tags, or from another website, the site records those tags, the page you landed on and the referring site’s address (not the full link) and attaches them to an order you place, so I can tell what brought people in. If you do not order, nothing is sent anywhere.

Where it is stored, and who else sees it

Paid orders are written to a private Google Sheet that only I can open. Confirmation and reminder emails are sent through Resend. The site runs on Vercel. Payments and refunds run through Stripe. Those four companies process this data on my behalf under their own privacy terms; nobody else receives it, and I do not sell it or use it for advertising.

How long I keep it

Order records stay as long as I need them for tax and accounting. Stripe keeps its own payment records independently of me.

Your pickup address

Pickup is at a private address, which is why it is sent in your confirmation email rather than published here. Please keep it to yourself.

Asking me to delete it

Email hello@milletandcrumb.com and ask. I will delete what I am not legally required to keep, and tell you what I had to keep and why. The same address reaches me for any question about this page, or to ask for a refund before orders close.

This page describes what the site does today. It is not legal advice, and it is not a contract.
